Kate Bailey has a BA in Biology from Sweet
Briar College and a BS in Nursing from Emory University. She
received Reiki Master Teacher certification from both Dawn
Fleming in Maryland and William Lee Rand in Glastonbury, England.
She is a graduate of the two-year Spiritual Direction Institute program taught
by Msgr. Chester Michael. SDI emphasizes personal growth using the tools
of traditional spirituality and Jungian Psychology.
In addition to Reiki, Kate has experience with other healing
modalities and incorporates them into her practice. These include;
quantum touch, meridian/acupressure therapy, craniosacral
therapy, and guided imagery.
The Emory University Nursing School was an early proponent
of specific wellness orientation in nursing curriculum, but
nursing has always been as much about promoting wellness
as curing disease. With this perspective and experience in
traditional medicine, as well as an ongoing interest in complementary
and
alternative
approaches
to healing,
Kate is able to provide safe and effective health and wellness
coaching for her clients.

provide us access to our unconscious. The word Panadium came
from one of my dreams. A group of people held up a huge banner
stretched across a small town street with the word spelled
out in enormous
letters.
When I woke up, I searched the internet
and
couldn't
find the word - it didn't seem to exist, except as a mis-spelling
of palladium. I wrote it on a sticky note and left it by my
computer. Eventually it dawned on me that my husband and his
partners
owned a company devoted to morphology and I had a
crew of wordsmiths at my fingertips. When I asked them about
the word, the quick answer was..... pana = "everything" and
dium = "place where something happens"...so, a place
where everything can happen or is possible. How could I resist
using it for my website? Now, exactly how the word made its
way into my dream is another question!
